The project is planned to implement interventions that will support Good Governance, integrity, transparency and accountability, human rights and equality by strengthening civil society to play more proactive role in monitoring the public policies\decisions, and reform process
The project interventions will directly contribute to pushing towards the implementation of the government reform program and its axes through the watchdog role of Aman on execution and in providing practical recommendations to help decision-makers overcome challenges in implementation, and advocate for engaging the CSOs in policy making.
Objective
The proposed action – Public oversight toward implementation of reforms in Palestine for the years 2025-2027 – seeks to enable Palestinian Civil Society Organizations to assume greater accountability towards PFM and PAR Policy reforms over 24 months.
Project Outcome: The project will produce a concrete outcome: Building on the already established networks of CSOs, particularly CSTPBT, the project will first support CSOs to demand greater accountability towards the reform process, particularly, the sectors and services illustrated in the reform pillars and reform milestones. Simultaneously, the project will create more spaces and consultation mechanisms, and push for meaningful and inclusive public participation in policy making and reform processes.
