“Integrity School” in Kufur Ne’meh


Sharek Youth Forum, and PYALARA in partnership with the Coalition for Accountability and
Integrity – AMAN has conducted the first Integrity School in Palestine in Kufur Ne’meh.
40 young men and women between the ages of 20-28 have participated in the training from
different parts of the state, under the slogan of “participate, monitor and be accountable”, in
addition to many recommendations for initiatives related to social accountability in different
topics related to freedom and access to service and other issues which touch the lives of the
young.


Ms. Rozan Khalil, Director of the awareness and community outreach unit AMAN have
emphasized the importance of engaging the youth in combating corruption and social
accountability as they exceed the number of any other individuals in the society, noting that
this activity is coherent to AMAN’s strategy plan which aims to engage the youth of the NGO’s
in the fight against corruption.
Mr. Adel Saba’na, director of Sharek Youth Forum, has emphasized the need to engage the
youth by strengthen their leadership skills, social initiatives, and leading different campaigns
over social accountability.


“Engaging the youth in such implementations is vital to a positive change in the society and on
the national record as well
” Mr.Monther Khawaldeh, Project Coordinator at PYALARA,
moreover Mr. Monther indicated that PYALARA will monitor all suggestions and
recommendations by the youth.


The five-day Integrity School aims to enhance the youth’s knowledge in the concepts, tools and
mechanisms of social accountability and the fight against corruption, as well as using the media
as one of the tools of accountability and raising awareness of the community based on the
importance of their participation in the efforts to achieve integrity by focusing on both
theoretical and practical aspects.
