Empowering Palestinian Institutions and Civil Society (EPICS) Programme

September 2023 – March 2026

The EPICS Programme, funded by the FCDO and implemented by AMAN Coalition, aims to strengthen the role of civil society in monitoring public performance and holding power to account for the common good, thereby contributing to the improved viability, legitimacy, and inclusion of governance and service delivery in Palestine. The programme works to rebuild trust between citizens and public institutions by promoting integrity, transparency, and civic engagement across Palestine.

EPICS focuses on three expected outcomes:

  1. Increased adoption of policies that protect civic space.
  2. Enhanced community engagement in policymaking and accountability processes.
  3. Greater empowerment and inclusion of women in combating corruption, particularly gendered corruption.

Through policy dialogue, advocacy, social accountability initiatives, and capacity-building interventions, the programme enables civil society actors, media, youth groups, and women  against corruption “NED Network” networks to influence public decision-making and strengthen accountable governance actively.
