The Coalition for Accountability and Integrity – AMAN has sent out a letter to Dr. Hussein Al-Araj, Minister of Local Government calling for the need to clarify the mechanisms for dealing with the Israeli practices aimed at seizing most of the Palestinian lands, in expanding existing settlements or establishing new ones, causing a threat to the future of the State of Palestine.
This letter was sent against a decision published in Al-Quds newspaper on Feb.27th,2017 about filing of a detailed map No.2/250 in the so-called “ Kokhav Ya’akov settlement” ( Giv’at Hekif-Migron suburb) paving the way for seizing Palestinian Territories, between Mukhmas village and Barqa village.
Mr. Majdi Abu Zaid, Executive Director at AMAN coalition, stated that the civil administration, which is the party responsible for signing the electricity principles agreement and the joint water committee in the past months, is the same party responsible for the seized lands and the natural Palestinian resources.
