AMAN launches 2021 Integrity Awards

Ramallah/Gaza- For the16th year in a row, the Coalition for Accountability and Integrity- AMAN launched the Integrity Award for 2021, within the framework of its efforts to enhance the integrity system and combatting corruption in the Palestinian society, and to encourage the citizens to engage in the efforts to fight and report corruption. The deadline for application is 10 October 2021.

 There are three awards for three groups. The first is the group of public sector and local authorities’ employees, who report, refuse to engage, submit an official testimony, or provide information about a corruption case, or take an initiative that contributed to enhancing the integrity system and fighting corruption in their institution. The second group is the journalists produce and publish an investigative report about a corruption case, and the third award if for the best research, awarded to the best scientific research about the integrity system and fighting corruption. 

Specialized technical committees shall examine the nominations and the candidate’s applications, using set criteria and weights. Those committees shall submit their recommendations to AMAN executive management, and to the Jury, consisting of well-known personalities to make the final decision. The names of the winners shall be announced on 9 October, the International anti-Corruption Day, which AMAN shall celebrate.
