The Women Against Corruption project EU funded project

The project aims to combat gender-based corruption and inequality in service provision in Palestine. It focuses on integrating anti-corruption measures into the strategies of civil society and grassroots organizations dedicated to women's rights. This involves producing knowledge and studies to raise awareness about gender-based corruption in public services. The project also aims to develop gender-focused legislation and policies to prevent corruption in service delivery. Collaboration with law enforcement is important to criminalize gender-based corruption and establish channels for reporting incidents. Empowering civil society and promoting community engagement are key aspects, along with encouraging women's active participation in anti-corruption efforts. Ultimately, the project aims to immunize society against gender-rooted corruption.

The project implementation phase occurred between 2021 and 2023.
