This first show is one of 12 TV episodes launched in the context of The Youth Exercise Accountability initiative. Hosting 12 heads of local government units (LGUs) elected in the latest local elections, the shows inquire about the electoral promises LGU officials made to the public 100 days after they took office.

Ahead of the first episode, the Wattan Academy for Media Training and Capacity Building concluded a training course on Techniques and Tools of Investigative Reporting, Accountability and Solutions. As part of The Youth Exercise Accountability initiative, the Academy trainers and experts provided training to 15 young men and women on accountability programmes and how to raise hard questions and engage in a debate with decision makers. Trainees will practice real accountability in the TV shows.

AMAN will implement the initiative in cooperation with the Wattan Media Network. The exercise will promote the role of, and engage, the youth in holding to account heads of LGUs, including village councils and municipalities, in their own communities. It will empower a group of young journalists from across the West Bank so that they can hold accountable LGUs for their functions throughout Palestinian cities, towns, and villages.
