Coalition for accountability and integrity – Aman pointed out a comment on the Palestinian newspaper Al-Ayyam on the Israeli Foreign Ministry's statement which states that Israel decided to cut off 2 million dollars from its contributions to the United Nations after the last vote for the United Nations Human Rights Council on 4 resolutions in favor of Palestine. these contributions will be granted by Israel to some countries that support Israel in international organizations; the coalition has previously warned about suspicions of corruption and bribery practiced by Israel in international institutions.
Dr. Azmi Shuaibi, Board of Directors Anti-Corruption consultant, stated that there was suspicion of corruption or bribery last year in the light of Nigeria's last minute abstention and its abstention in the security council vote on a project aimed to end the Israeli occupation, although Nigeria has pledged to the Palestinian Authority to support the resolution of the project, Moreover, its vote was supposed to be in the Security council – the ninth voice guaranteeing the majority and acceptance of the draft vote later.
The Israeli Foreign Ministry declared in the same statement that Israel has already decided to deduct 6 million dollars of these funds after the UN Security Council voting in the end of last year on resolution 2334 rejecting Israeli settlement.
