In the aftermath of the escalation of events and deteriorated security situation in Gaza, and following the attacks and arrests against citizens, restriction of the freedom of expression and peaceful gathering;
In reason of increased tension and frustration among citizens, which poses a threat to the Palestinian society fabric,
And in response to advise from prominent figures and civil society organizations,
Unfortunately, AMAN Coalition decided to adjourn its conference, which was supposed to be held on Monday the 18th of March 2019 until further notice in April. Hoping to organize the conference simultaneously in the West Bank and Gaza Strip under a more stable situation, and that it will coincide with the formation of the eighteenth Palestinian Cabinet so that we can submit the conference’s recommendations directly to the new government. We are optimistic the government will be more open to citizens and to civil society and in harmony with the requirements to promote integrity and anti-corruption efforts.
