Andalib Adwan Shehada - Al Mezan Center for Human Rights
Andalib is an activist in development, Women and Media field with over 25 years' experience. She is the founder and director of the Community Media Center (CMC), the CSO which is advocating for the rights and issues of the marginalized people with special emphasis on women and youths, through media. Andalib also was one of the core group who started Women Affaires Center in Gaza (WAC) and she used to be the media program manager there and the editor in chief for WAC magazine that she established in 1996.
Andalib' work is based with CSOs, popular unions and women and youths’ frames.
Andalib’s main expertise and experience are basically in training, research and media. She is a member of board of directors for Al Mezan Centre For Human Rights, and for Coalition for Integrity and Accountability- AMAN in Palestine.
Andalib is currently leading Community Media Centre in Gaza strip, besides handling consultancy assignments.
