Ghada Zughayar

Ghada is the Executive Director of AMAN whose responsibilities are managing and overseeing AMAN’s work as a whole. She also takes an active role in preparing and overseeing the implementation of AMAN’s strategic plan and projects. Ghada also takes part in mobilizing resources and fundraising in addition to reporting to the Board of Directors on AMAN’s daily work and staff performance

Ghada holds a Masters Degree in Rural Development/ Institutional Building. Her dissertation topic: Gender Analysis of Palestinian NGOs Working in the Field of Rural Development, dealing with the impact of patriarchy on women's employment with emphasis on  the advancement of women in the NGOs' structures and decision-making.

Isam Haj Hussein

Isam is the programs and projects manager, and he had been AMAN’s Administrative Manager since 2002.  Prior to that, 1998-2002, Isam worked with the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education as the of Head of the Certification Division.

Nadia Al Bayoumi

Nadia works as Gaza Office Manager .  She joined AMAN’s team in October 2005.  Nadia is responsible for the coordination and management of all projects implemented in Gaza in addition to being AMAN’s PR representative.   
Prior to joining AMAN, Nadia worked with several NGOs for nearly 8 years.  She also has experience in the area of research.

Abeer Musleh
Research and Development Unit
Director
MA degree in International Studies, BirZeit University 2001

Occupying the position of head of the R&D Unit, Ms. Musleh works on strengthening transparency and combating corruption by preparing books, studies and training manuals of relevance. She is currently working on developing a Palestinian corruption Perception Index (PCPI) and preparing the Palestinian annual corruption report.
She worked as a lecturer in the department of History and Political Science in both Bir Zeit and al-Quds Universities. She has an extensive experience in training of trainers (TOT) and training with NGOs on communication skills, conflict resolutions, combating corruption and the like.
She also participated in preparing studies on the Palestinian political situation which were published in local and regional Arab countries

Hama Zeidan
Advocacy and Legal Advice Center- ALAC
Director
Master Degree in Democracy and Human Rights

Ms. Hama is the coordinator of the advocacy and legal advice (ALAC) center, responsible for supervising all aspects of the operations of the Center to ensure high quality service.

Ms. Hama Worked in the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) during the period from 1999-2008, She had accumulated good experience in project management and implementation of statistical surveys, writing and analysis of statistical reports, where she worked as director of Governance survey, and served as head of Institutional National Accounts division, and was a member of the technical committee in the number of statistical surveys (economic, social and geographical).

  Rami Mousa
Resource Center & Webmaster coordinator

Rami has been working with AMAN as a Resource Center & Webmaster coordinator since 2004.  His responsibilities include developing and updating AMAN's Website as well as maintaining the Anti-corruption resource center.  He previously worked on software development in the private sector for two years.

Jamileh Jalal Abed

Coordinator
Bachelor degree in English literature and translation-major/minor; Birzeit University

Currently holds the position of Project Coordinator for two projects; “Measuring Anti-Corruption Efforts and Building Demand for Effective National Integrity Systems in Egypt and the Arab World” MABDA; and “Enhancing the legal framework of Associations in the Arab World through national dialogue and empowerment of civil society”.

Jamileh worked with AMAN from the beginning of 2007 as a project manager for the Nazaha project (enhancing integrity and transparency in Palestinian NGOs). Prior to that, she worked at the Treatment and Rehabilitation Center for Victims of Torture (TRC) as an office manager and for five and a half years as an academic counselor with Academy for Educational Development.

Wael Haj Mohammed
Project Coordinator

aster degree in  American studies from Al-Quads University,

Mr. Mohammed has started his position at AMAN in mid march 2010 as a project manager of the “Enhancing the effectiveness and independency of the judiciary authority” project that is funded by the EU which targets the Justice sector as one of the most important Palestinian sectors and its three main pillars: The High Judicial Council (HJC), Public Prosecution (PP), and Ministry of Justice (MoJ).

This project is considered one of the main integrity pillars specially that it has to do with enhancing the rule of law.

  Lina Falah

Currently holds the position of a Project Coordinator for the “National Endowment for Democracy/ Fighting corruption through education” since October 2008. She previously worked as a project coordinator at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society and at Birzeit University. She has good experience in coordinating and writing reports.

Muhammad Fareed Liftawi

Mohammad works as a project coordinator for The Pro Poor Integrity project,  He worked as an administrative assistant with AMAN since 2006. He was responsible for following up on activities relating to the project entitled “National Campaign for Advocacy of UNCAC Provisions in Palestine/ the National Anti Corruption Campaign”, previously implemented by AMAN.  He was also responsible for coordinating activities for the pressure group Palestinian Parliamentarians against Corruption.

Wael Ibrahim Ba'alousha

Wa’el  working as a coordinator in Gaza, he worked previously as an administrative assistant on the "National Anti Corruption Campaign" project in the Gaza office. He has been with AMAN since January 2007.

Prior to that and for nine years, he worked with different local NGOs and youth centers as a field researcher, session's moderator, team leader in supervising elections and project coordinator.

Belal Barghouthi

Works as a legal adviser for AMAN since 2009, and offering legal advice regarding the complaints of ALAC.
He worked at the Center for Democracy and Workers Rights for a period of two years, as a lawyer and coordinator of the Law Unit, and he worked in the Legislative Council for a period of ten years as a legal adviser to the Economic Commission, is currently outside legal counsel, lecturer and coach for a number of public and private institutions, and experts in legislative drafting, and activist in the field of human rights and he has many books and literature like: the right of access or free access to information, discrimination in public office, labor disputes and the Palestinian judiciary, the General Administration of public institutions, non-ministerial, critical review of the decision of the law on money laundering.

Baker AL Turkmani

Mr. Turkmani works as a legal advisor for AMAN – Gaza office.   since 2010

His provides the legal consultancy for the complaints in ALAC, he worked as a lawyer in the Palestinian center for Democracy and conflict resolutions for 4 years, and is working as a consultant in several subjects like Advocacy, Gender & Human rights, and as a volunteer lawyer for the detained children in AL.Rabee association for children care – Gaza.

Mr. Baker is a member in the AL Amal Alliance to combat violence against women, and expert in the women's issues and child abuse.

Luay Jaber

Works on receiving complaints by telephone and personal reviews from citizens at the center and assist them in filling out forms. And provides an initial legal guidance for the reviewers, and orientation of the action must be taken to follow up on complaints. And I also work to sort and classify complaints on the basis of being related to issues of corruption or not ... and Participate in the preparation of case files submitted to the Centre. Further more he responsible for entering the data which is related to complaints on the data base of center.

He worked in the year of 2008 in AL-AMIN for advertising and marketing as an administrative supervisor

Shadi Reziqallah

Shadi has been with AMAN since 2007 working as an accountant on part time bases.  In 2008, Shadi became a full time employee.  Prior to that, Shadi worked at Al-Quds university as an Accountant for three years.

Salam Works in AMAN as an administrative assistant since November 2008 , she works on the employees affairs files , the boards director file, running AMANs’ Commission for Combating Corruption office in addition to working on organizing and developing the institution archive system.

She worked in several NGOs and private companies during the period 1995-2007.

She has a good and a long experience in the employees’ affairs field since she had been working in that area for 8 years.

She is an active and founding member in a number of NGOs and training centers.

  Faeda Daghra (Um Abdallah)
Domestic Employee

Um Abdallah is AMAN’s Domestic Employee responsible for keeping the office clean and the staff happy.  She has been working with AMAN since the beginning of 2007, not only cleaning the office and tending to the continuous flow of guests, but ensuring that every employee is pampered equally.
