AMAN
issued an analytical study entitled "The Palestinian policies and
legislations to combat corruption." The study provides an
overview of the efficiency of the policies and legislations to
combat the phenomenon of corruption and its negative impacts on the
Palestinian society, in accordance with the provisions of the United
Nations Convention against Corruption. The study also aims at
empowering the Palestinian environment and developing the
Palestinian National Integrity System to reduce risks of corruption
and make use of the transparency and accountability in public work
as a "catalyst" for responsibility within the frame of rule of law
and preserving public property, as well as strengthening the
confidence of citizens in officials and encouraging them to
participate in public affairs.
