Aiming at Enhancing Transparency and Integrity in the Work of Local Authorities AMAN Organized a Training Workshop for Members at these Institutions

The Coalition for Accountability and Transparency AMAN had organized a two-day training workshop on March 9-10, 2007 on promoting transparency and integrity in the work of local authorities. The training was organized in Jericho and targeted 25 employees at five local authorities from Jericho and Hebron districts.

The training started with an introduction presented by AMAN’s Program Director on AMAN’s exerted efforts in promoting values of integrity and systems of transparency and accountability within the Palestinian society. The training had evolved around promoting transparency and accountability in the administrative and financial systems of local governments. Also, the Local Authorities Anti-Corruption Code of conduct was presented and explained in the workshop.
