 AMAN Launches a Series of Training Workshops for Palestinian Cooperatives

December 20, 2006

As part of its work in promoting values of integrity and systems of transparency and accountability within the Palestinian society and its commitment towards the establishment of a National Integrity System, AMAN had launched a series of training workshops that targeted cooperatives in Jericho and Hebron on December 20-21, 2006. Additional workshops will be organized to target other cooperatives all over the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

The training focuses on:

1-      Strengthening transparency inside cooperatives.

2-      Legal status and internal bylaws of cooperatives as a means for ensuring transparency.

3-      Transparency in budgeting.
