Palestinian Journalists and Media Professionals Call for the Ratification of a Unified Publication and Authentication Law

In a workshop organized by AMAN Coalition in cooperation with Miftah and the Media Development Center of Birzeit University in Ramallah via video conference with Gaza, Palestinian journalists and media professionals called for drafting and ratifying a unified Publication and Authentication Law. They also called for the enactment of the Law for Journalist Union that was presented to the PLC for ratification long time ago and the provision of support and legal protection for media professionals and institutions.

The workshop aimed at presenting and discussing a working paper prepared by a researcher contracted by AMAN on the Palestinian Publication and Authentication Law; its gaps and weaknesses.
