Gaza Anti- Corruption Summer Activities for Kids

Due to the recent developments in Gaza and the unstable political situation there, AMAN was not able to implement the 15 summer camps it planned for Gaza. Instead, these 15 camps were implemented in the West Bank and an Open Day was organized for children in Gaza as a substitute. The Day was organized in cooperation with Ma’an Institution. The theme of the Open Day revolved around raising the awareness of youth generation on anti-corruption issues as well as enhancing anti-corruption concepts such as integrity and transparency. In order to achieve this, different fun and non traditional activities were conducted. These included music, drama, art, drawings, DVD showing, games, and story telling. Al-Hares puppet show was played on Video for children and the comic book “Saleh Iw Taleh” was printed prior to the activity and was distributed to children during the day. Around 500 children participated in the activities.
